Pepper
A beautiful fawn colour and our eldest of the group Pepper is an integral part of our herd. Although she can be a little timid sometimes, she enjoys a walk taking in the scenery and people watching. Pepper has a great quality wool with a comfort factor of 99%. Pepper is the biggest fan of playtime with water and we have to be extra careful with her because if someone is going to get injured or ill, it tends to be her - she’s a little clumsy.
Watch the reaction of the first barn stay of the season - Pepper jumped about 4’ in the air!
We’re so proud of Pepper’s wool and by the beautiful creations our customers have created with it such as weaved scarves.
Pepper loves playing in water, it’s one of the reasons we have to keep their drinking buckets up high off the ground.
One of Pepper’s favourite pastimes is showing off her cheeky side and standing in things that are not meant to be stood in!
Here we can show you Pepper being more confident with visitors, looking to be hand-fed
If you adopt Pepper, you’re not only getting yourself, or someone for a gift, a year long subscription to newsletters all about Pepper and the farm, you’re supporting this small business and becoming a part of our journey. As well as this, some of the possibilities your adoption fee pays for and gives Pepper are:
Feeds Pepper special nutirents alpacas need for 1 year
Pepper’s annual injection and any necessary parasite treatments
3 fence repairs to keep Pepper safe
2 cans of petrol to help us maintain healthy pasture for Pepper
10 bales of hay, which will feed Pepper for the duration of the adoption
7 bags of carrots… which is too much for Pepper to eat in a year, but given the chance, she would!
A paddling pool and hours of splash and cooling-down fun
1 round of antibiotics for Pepper (which hopefully we won’t need, but with Pepper, you never can tell)
